강의 개요 (COURSE DESCRIPTION):
본 과목은 교회 개척과 관련된 주요 문제 및 복합적인 요소를 이해하도록 돕는 실제적인
과목입니다. 학생들은 먼저 개척자에게 필요한 성경 원리 및 영성을 배우고, 그것을 토대로 모든
컨텍스트와 지역 사회에 적용 가능한 교회 개척 및 재개척 전략을 세우는 법을 배울 것입니다.
그리고 현재 통용되는 교회 개척 모델, 방법론, 절차도 배울 것입니다.
(강사는 현재 Evangelical Covenant Church 교단의 교회 개척자 훈련 및 감독을 총괄하고 있으며, Life
Covenant Church의 담임 목사로 사역하고 있습니다.)
학습 결과 (LEARNING OUTCOMES):
본 과목을 성공적으로 이수할 경우 학생들은 (1) 개척 교회가 속한 컨텍스트와 지역 사회를
분석하고 정리할 수 있게 되고, (2) 상황에 맞는 전도 전략 및 제자 훈련 전략을 포함해서
종합적인 교회 개척 전략을 세울 수 있게 되며, (3) 개척자 자신 및 개척 교회를 위한 영성 함양
및 영적 성장 계획을 세울 수 있게 될 것입니다.
강의 형식 (COURSE FORMAT):
본 수업은 일주일 집중 강의입니다. 매일 오전 8시부터5시까지 (월요일~금요일) 교실에서
진행되는 강의와 토론의 수업 시수는 총 40시간입니다.

1. 독서(MA/ThM 1,200쪽, DMin 2,400쪽) 및 독서보고서 (annotated reading report) (20%)
2. 영성 개발 계획 보고서 (3-4쪽/싱글 스페이스): 자기 자신 및 개척 교회의 영적 성장, 영성
함양을 위한 계획 (20%)
3. 교회 컨텍스트 분석 보고서 (3-4쪽/싱글 스페이스): 교회를 개척할 지역의 컨텍스트와 지역
사회를 분석한 보고서 (20%)
4. 교회 개척 계획서 (5-6쪽/싱글 스페이스): 복음을 보여주고, 구체적으로 설명하고, 사람을
초대하는 일에 참여하는 교회를 개척하기 위한 실행 가능한 전략을 설명하는 계획서. (40%)
선행 이수 과목 (PREREQUISITES): 없음
과목 분류 (RELATIONSHIP TO CURRICULUM): 선택 과목. MA/MDiv 과정의 교회개척 세부 전공
또는 교회개척 수료 과정의 필수 요건을 충족.

A- 90-94
Superior: The level of research, thinking, and communication are superior. You
understand and interact with the theories, integrate it with your topic, and have
shown how it is applicable in the context you have chosen.
B+ 87-89
Very Good: The level of research, thinking, and communication are satisfactory.
You appear to understand the theories, read the assigned literature, and have
made progress in showing how it is applicable in the context you have chosen,
though your work could be stronger in both areas.
B 84-86
Satisfactory: The level of research, thinking, and communication are satisfactory.
You appear to have read the assigned literature and have made progress in
showing how it is applicable in the context you have chosen, though your work
could be stronger in both areas.
B- 80-83
Acceptable but average at best: The level of research, thinking, and
communication are acceptable. It appears you understand the reading and have
made a start in showing how it is applicable in the context you have chosen.
C+ 77-79
Acceptable but definitely below average: The level of research, thinking, and
communication are barely acceptable. You have read some of the theories and
have started to consider how it is applicable in the context you have chosen, but
you have not demonstrated either clearly.
C 74-76
Borderline pass: The level of research, thinking, and communication are
borderline. The demonstration of your critical thinking is absent, but the narrative
may merit some consideration.
C- 70-73
Not acceptable: Depending on what I see, I may assume you tried, but it is not
graduate level. The only reason it received a passing grade is that you submitted
it for consideration with some evidence of work done.
