Cho ML578/678/MK778: MISSIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (4 Units:
160 hours) DESCRIPTION: The
subject of this course is the leadership development, i.e., how leadership develops
over lifetime. While leadership involves
influencing others in diverse situations, it is also about leading oneself for God’s
purposes. Those who understand and respond
to God’s shaping and developing activities can equip and empower each part of
the body of Christ to do its work in God’s mission in and for the world. The lectures in the course are illuminated by
various leadership models and theories, including J. Robert Clinton’s Leadership
Emergence Theory. 본 과목은 평생에 걸쳐 개발되는 리더십을 다룬다. 리더십은 다양한 환경들 속에서 다른 사람들을 이끄는 것 뿐만 아니라 하나님의 목적을 위해 자신을 이끄는 것까지 수반한다.
하나님의 형성하시고 개발시키시는 역사하심을 이해하고 이에 반응하는 자들은 예수 그리스도의 몸의 각 지체로 하여금 세상 속에서 세상을 위해 역사하시는 하나님의 선교 안에서 자신의 역할을 감당할 수 있도록 준비 시키며 능력을 부여 할 수 있다.
본 과목의 강의들은 로버트 클린턴의 리더십 출현 이론을 포함한 다양한 리더십 이론들과 모델들을 반영한다.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon successful completion of this course,
students will (1) explain what leadership development involves; (2) retrospectively
analyze how one has responded to God’s shaping activities; (3) critically
evaluate how the Korean church has carried out God-given responsibilities for
developing leaders; and (4) assess the implications of leadership development
for missio Dei. 본 과목을 이수한 학생들은 (1) 리더십 개발 요소들을 설명할 수 있고; (2) 하나님의 역사하심에 대한 자신의 반응을 회고적으로 분석하게 되고; (3) 한국 교회가 리더십 개발을 위해 하나님 주신 책임들을 어떻게 수행해 왔는지 비평적으로 평가하고; (4) 하나님의 선교를 위한 리더십 개발의 함의들을 진단할 수 있게 된다. COURSE FORMAT: This is a one week intensive course which
meets five days for a total of 40 instructional hours in the classroom for
lecture, discussion, and small group exercises.
